Mask Contest

On March 12th we had our First Tango BIP Mask contest. The Party at Country Auction Plaza was awesome. We enjoyed very nice country music, beer samplers, beads exchange, chocolate coins and a lot of fun.
We had a great afternoon.
The Mask contest for Mardy Gras finished at 7 pm. (We know, it was too much waiting, but we learn from our mistakes) Next time it will close earlier.
We had only 12 contestants but they made a great job using recyclable materials in their masks.
They used everything they had on hand, from papers to feathers, from seeds to beads.
All categories, Stick Masks, Full Face and Venetians Masks were represented there at the contest.
In the end as there were less contestants that what we expected we had to choose only four winners.
The Best Mask Ever prize was for   Joey Sokolowski Full Face Mask . He made a mask of recycled paper.

These were the three contestants for the Full Face mask category

Contestants for Stick Mask. The winner was: David Goff, he used all sort of things he had at his house for his mask, he decorated it with a couple of knives too. The design and the use of materials on that mask was excellent but we must mention that all the contestants masks were very nice. The three judges has a hard time trying to choose a winner.

This Stick mask was as pretty as the contestant, with a fine design and very well decorated using our Mardi Gras color, green yellow and purple.

Thank you everyone for participating and for making this afternoon unforgettable.
Nobody went home with empty hands; there were chocolate gold coins for everybody.

Happy Valentine"s day

Here we are again. It nearly Valentine's Day and we are working a lot. A new year has started and we are very busy. Tango is doing great, we have grown a lot. We have been opened 8 months and it seems to be yesterday when we opened. Well, we are very happy with the store and with the people around Astatula; they are incredible people always eager to help.
Now Tango sells not only bread pastries, ice-cream and pizza but we have added more appetizers, soups and salads. Our Customers like our products and we are happy to provide the best products we can.

David and  Angels make a good team and it is very well complemented with Francisco in bakery and Christopher making pizza, calzone and stromboli and lots more things.
We keep investing and growing, Now we have more working space as we have added another room  at the back of the store just behind suite B.

Dave Kuchareck (owner of Country Junction Plaza) is a great landlord and an excellent human being, We are very comfortable making business with him over there. We are working together to improve our business and collaborating with Dave to bring activities for the whole family to Astatula.

After the grand opening in October 2010 we realized that Astatula needs more activities. With that in mind we are now preparing a celebration for March 12th. It is Mardi Gras and Saint Patrick's Day Celebration, we are looking forward to see all of you there. We are very excited.  We'll have a mask contest for children and adults who will have to create ans wear a mask made from scratch using recyclable materials in green, gold (or yellow) and purple. We expect to have lie music and entertainment for the whole family with good food and beer.
(You will be able to read more about this in the next posting)
Well this all for today. If you have a little time check our web page, I have just finished adding new stuff in there.

Wait for you at the Mardi Grass celebration.

Bye
Cristina
